Leashed / Privacy

Your information.

This notice covers the Leashed prelaunch website and email waitlist. It does not describe a future public product’s data practices.

Waitlist information

When you subscribe, your email address is submitted directly to Buttondown to send launch updates. Please do not include intimate details. Confirm your email to complete signup; unsubscribe using the link in any update.

We rely on your consent to send these requested emails. Withdrawing consent does not affect earlier processing. Buttondown processes subscription information under its privacy policy. Delivery and abuse prevention may also involve technical data processed by that provider.

Site measurement and hosting

When configured, Google Tag Manager sends Google Analytics page-view and waitlist-submission events with a query-free page path. We do not include form values or age-confirmation state in the event data we send. Google and the hosting provider receive network information needed to deliver their services. Read Google’s privacy policy and Microsoft’s privacy statement for provider practices.

On your device

Confirming that you are 18 or older stores “confirmed” under leashed.landing.age-gate.v1 in this browser’s local storage. It stays until you clear site data. If browser storage is unavailable, confirmation lasts only for the current page visit. Google Tag Manager starts with advertising and analytics storage denied, and this website does not use advertising cookies.

Retention and your choices

Waitlist information is used for launch communications until you unsubscribe or the list is retired. Providers may retain suppression records and operational records according to their policies. Contact the operator to request access, correction, deletion, or information about processing and international transfers. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to restrict or object to processing, request portability, or complain to your data protection authority.

Adults only

This service is intended for adults 18 and over. If you believe a minor submitted information, contact the operator so it can be investigated and removed.
